Birds Nest is a gravel access on the Meramec operated by MDC. Official Info Page
The river must be significantly high in order for the concrete part of the ramp to be usable, and the lower gravel bar can be soft depending on recent floods. Further, sedimentation at the ramp can make for a broad shoal. In short, this is a good access for paddlers, but not for trailers.
