George Winter Park

Description

George Winter Park is a robust river access on the Meramec river in Fenton. Multiple boat ramps are available, along with fishing and swimming areas.

Portable toilets are available near both ramps.

A separately managed angler access is available down Corisande Hills Road, across the Jefferson County Line.

Gauges

The Fenton River Gauge can be used to calculate the depth at the inlet. As of December 2025, the George Winter is about .6ft shallower than the Fenton gauge. For example, if the Fenton gauge reads 1.3ft, the depth at the inlet is about .7ft (~8").
